Training Programs:
New Candidate Withdrawal Application Option
Please be aware that candidates now have access to a Withdrawal Application option on approved applications. If a candidate needs to withdraw their application, direct them to use this feature through the appropriate Credentia process. Be sure to familiarize yourself with this option so you can accurately assist candidates with questions.
Current Process for Candidates:
- Candidate logs into their Credentia account.
- From the left navigation menu, Candidate selects the Application Tab.
- Locates the approved application on the Application page.
- Select Withdrawal within the approved application.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the withdrawal.
Note:
Candidate Application Withdrawal and Reinstatement Reminder
Please remind candidates that if they are not ready to test, they have the option to withdraw their application at any time during their eligibility period.
When speaking with candidates, please provide the following information:
- Candidates may withdraw their application at any time during their eligibility period if they are not ready to test.
- Withdrawing an application temporarily removes it from active testing but does not cancel their eligibility.
- Candidates may reinstate their application at any time during their original eligibility period without submitting a new application or obtaining additional approval from the training program.
- Once reinstated, candidates may resume scheduling their examination.
- Candidates may withdraw and reinstate their application as often as needed, provided their original eligibility period has not expired.
Training Programs: New Reporting Enhancement
Training programs can now view candidate Nurse Aide Skills Examination pass percentages at the individual skill-step level within the Training Program Report.
This enhanced reporting provides greater insight into candidate performance by identifying the specific skill steps where candidates are excelling or may need additional instruction. These detailed results can be used to evaluate training effectiveness, identify performance trends, and strengthen educational programs to better prepare future candidates for success on the Nurse Aide Skills Examination.
Training programs are encouraged to review this information regularly and use the results to support instructional planning and continuous improvement.
Test Sites
Test Sites: Availability and Testing Dates Reminder
Test sites are reminded to regularly review and update their availability within the Test Site Manager Console. Please ensure that upcoming testing dates are added and that any changes to your siteβs availability are entered promptly.
Maintaining accurate availability and testing dates helps support candidate scheduling, reduces delays, and ensures that candidates have access to current examination opportunities.
